Seattle accommodation

The place we rented for the week was our first go at trying airbnb. It seemed like a much nicer idea to stay in a real home rather than a stale hotel room. The place I chose was really unique and located in Beacon Hill. It was an annex downstairs from another apartment and I have to say that it was really very cute.

Bathroom complete with underfloor heating (such luxury!)

How adorable, right? The bathroom had barcelona-style tiling, and the rest of the apartment housed a collection of memorabilia and generally cute things. What i also loved was that one room had an artists desk and loads of tiny drawers in which one could find all manner of seemingly random but consistently cute items, for example fortune-telling fish and buttons. Everything was clean and tidy and well equipped. The nearest bus stop was under a shady bridge a couple of mins away and the nearest rail station was 0.7 miles up the hill – quite pleasant when unencumbered by luggage!
